Suspect wanted for over 30 burglaries in Limpopo, finally nabbed
These crimes were committed within the Polokwane, Seshego, Tzaneen, Giyani, Mahwelereng and Makhado Clusters between 2012 and 2018
LIMPOPO – Communities in Polokwane, Seshego, Tzaneen, Giyani, Mahwelereng and Makhado Clusters can now breathe a sigh of relief following the arrest of a highly wanted suspect on Tuesday, 26 March.
This suspect, who is in his thirties is wanted for over 30 cases of burglary and was arrested by a dedicated team of investigators, said Police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The suspect, who seemingly thought he was invincible, ran amok around the province between the years 2012 and 2018, breaking into the residential premises and stealing money and properties. Some of his targets when breaking into homes were plasma TVs and other electrical appliances. In April 2012 he allegedly broke into a house at Bolobedu outside Tzaneen and stole a plasma TV,” Ngoepe explained.

He added that the Seshego Cluster was mostly affected, after the suspect was linked to 15 cases of burglary residential.
“He will appear before various magistrate courts soon and it is believed the suspect may be linked with more similar cases around the province as police investigations continue.”
