Laerskool Piet Hugo’s u.13 soccer team made good use of their home ground advantage as they walloped Jabez Christian Academy 7-1 during a Limpopo Primary Schools Football Association League match last Wednesday.
This was the second match of the league with the hosts dominating most of the game and converting most of their chances into goals.
Piet Hugo soccer coach Kevin Smith was happy with the performance of his players and the standard of the league as he mentioned that things were going well thus far.
He indicated that 16 schools were participating in the league and Piet Hugo was hoping to reach the semi-finals. Smith emphasised that there were tough competitors in the competition hence proceeding to the finals would not be an easy task.
There are trophies and medals at stake for the winners and runners-up in the league.
