Stanford Lake College is proud of three of its current Grade 12s who wrote their IeBT exams towards the end of last year and placed in the top 1% in the country. Helene Werhahn and Lara Dando placed in the top 1% in Mathematics and David Pullinger in Physical Sciences.
South Africa’s Independent Examinations Board (IEB), in partnership with the Australian Council for Educational Research, offers benchmarking tests in Mathematics and Physical Science (IeBT) with the purpose of assessing Grade 11 learners’ performance in the Grade 11 curriculum. The results in turn are the benchmark for competence with the Grade 11 syllabus as well as an indicator of areas of concern before Grade 12.
