Polokwane social work services seek assistance in tracing this man’s next of kin

Ian Nyanyiwa’s body was found at his rental apartment in Extension 44 on the 12 March 2019.

POLOKWANE – Social work services at Buite Clinic in Polokwane are requesting assistance with the tracing of the next of kin of the late Ian Nyanyiwa.

Spokesperson for the Department of Social Development, Kanakana Mantshimuli says Ian Nyanyiwa’s body was found at his rental apartment in Extension 44 on the 12 March 2019. He was reported living alone and was working as a cook at Zinki Tuck Shop in the city centre.

“He was a Zimbabwean national and was born on the 10 of August 1965, as per the death certificate issued. It is believed that he hailed from Norton Town next to Chingwere School in Zimbabwe,” Mantshimuli said.

Any person with information that can lead to the tracing of his nearest relatives is requested to contact the social worker assigned to the case, M.D Hlaraka (Social Worker) at 015 290 9000 or 071 253 8142.
