BREAKING NEWS – DA in Lim stages pickets at Premier’s stronghold, VBS Mutual Bank

A party of Democratic Alliance (DA) supporters in Limpopo showed up at Premier Stan Mathabatha’s office earlier this morning (Friday) with a “Cost of living” picket, which is also expected to be taken to Louis Trichardt around lunchtime today.
The second picket, led by DA Team One spokesperson on basic services Makashule Gana and DA Provincial Leader and Premier Candidate Jacques Smalle, is supposed to be staged at VBS Mutual Bank “where savings from pensioners and municipal funds, that were meant to improve the lives of our citizens, were stolen to maintain luxurious lifestyles for politicians, royals and state employees,” it was stated in a media advisory issued beforehand.
The pickets are being conducted a day prior to the DA’s provincial manifesto launch in the town of Louis Trichardt, scheduled for tomorrow morning.
