Earlier today (Thursday) the Limpopo High Court reportedly sentenced Cuthbert Manamela to life imprisonment for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Lebogang Lamola in Seshego two years ago.
A joyous group of young women and Lebogang’s family gathered outside the court to celebrate the judgement. The group held a banner written ‘End violence against women’ featuring #JusticeforLebogangLamola.
The deceased’s uncle, Moses Lamola could not hide his excitement as he indicated that they were delighted that justice has finally prevailed. He further stressed that although the harsh sentence can’t bring their daughter back, the family can now find closure.
