Two of Marks Rambau’s murder suspects denied bail in the Polokwane Magistrates Court

The suspects will next appear in April for further investigations to take place as well as to have the case moved to the Limpopo High Court.

POLOKWANE – Four suspects appeared in the Polokwane Magistrates Court earlier today on charges of murder in connection with the Marks Rambau murder case. All four suspects were applying for bail.

The partially burned body of Marks Rambau, who was attached to the Limpopo Department of Transport in Polokwane, was allegedly dumped next to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by two unknown suspects on Tuesday night, 15 January.

Two of the four suspects were granted bail while the two main suspects were denied bail.

At the time of their arrest, police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, confirmed that the first to be arrested was a 24-year-old woman from Seshego, who was arrested on 25 January at a hotel in Polokwane and the second suspect, a Nigerian man (27), was arrested on 26 January at his rented house in Flora Park.
