“We know what is is like growing up with a tough upbringing, walking around with torn clothes, going to school with a uniform that is not complete and also not having food to eat for dinner or breakfast. So we took it upon ourselves to help those who are in need, who are also going through what we did so that they can at least have an easier life.

During these events they also invite local mini businesses to exhibit their businesses with the intention to grow their businesses as well as build clientele with one another.

“Apart from receiving donations those in need also get treated to some of my delectable, wholesome meals which I cook myself with love and serve with smiles and laughter as we engage,” added Pontsho.

The next Turf Fun Day 2019 (Cookout by Chef Radi) will be held on 20 April at Zone 1 park.
