One killed in head-on crash outside Musina

LIMPOPO – One person is dead and two others sustained serious injuries after two vehicles crashed head-on along the N1 North on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened along the N1 North near the Sand River bridge outside Musina at around 16:20.

The 41-year-old driver of a Nissan LDV was declared deceased on the scene and the driver and one passenger from the Hyundai sedan sustained serious injuries, Traffic Affairs north of Gauteng said.

The exact cause of the collision will form part of a police investigation.
