The Gordon Institute of Business Science of the University of Pretoria (Gibs), in collaboration with the Walmart Foundation, has 60 scholarships available for the #GrowYourBiz programme for entrepreneurs in the retail and Early Childhood Development centres businesses in four centres in the country, which includes Seshego.
Existing retail shops, spaza shops, restaurants, takeaways, hair and beauty salons, butcheries, general dealers, bakeries, caterers and Early Childhood Development centres (ECD) fall within the criteria to take part in the programme.
“If you meet the above criteria and your application is shortlisted, you will get an opportunity to pitch your business for a spot in the #GrowYourBiz programme. Please note that no shebeens or tavern businesses will be accepted and no stipends will be offered to attendees,” programme manager, Hlengiwe Nhlapo pointed out.
The programme runs from April and applications will be accepted until tomorrow (Friday). Apply at www.research.net/r/Walm_GIBS_2019.
