POLOKWANE – Motorists from Seshego and surrounding areas do not need to stress anymore about their vehicles’ tyres. SK Tyre Repairs Mobile Unit will come to their rescue.

Silence Khosa started his tyre repair business in 2009, in Seshego Zone 1 opposite Seshego Cycle Centre and has been a shining example of what self-empowerment is. He said that like many South Africans he was faced with many challenges, including poverty.

Khosa holds a certificate in mechanical engineering from Seshego FET College.

Silence Khosa has been a shining example of what self-empowerment is all about, he own the SK Tyre Repairs Mobile Unit in Seshego Zone 1 opposite Seshego Cycle Center.

“I have realised that many motorists become stuck next to the road due to tyre problems and some travel without a car jack. I am very happy about the support I receive from people in and around Seshego. It is more than just fixing punctures, it’s about building a relationship with customers. I also make house calls. I do have my regular customers, who call me whenever they are in need,” said Khosa.

He said he decided to start the mobile tyre service after he realised that most motorist, stuck next to the road, struggle to find assistance. He told BONUS that he is proud that he is able to create five permanent jobs for young people from Seshego.

“It has become a lifestyle, and that is why I would like to do this for the rest of my life. I would like to see my business grow, and I want to own a tyre franchise one day. I am proud that I have created jobs for young people,” he said.
