The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Limpopo yesterday (Wednesday) visited the family of Thorisho Themane in Flora Park to convey their heartfelt condolences following the gruesome death of the 28-year-old party Ward 20 treasurer.
EFF Capricorn Regional Chairperson Ronnie Malema indicated that the organisation learnt about the incident on social media, adding they were shocked to see the manner in which one of their own was allegedly murdered.

Mahlapahlapane Themane pleads with the Police to bring the killers of his son to book.
EFF Capricorn Regional Chairperson Ronnie Malema leads party representatives to Themaneā€™s family home.

He said another meeting with the family was scheduled for today (Thursday) to discuss the programme for the funeral.
Malema pleaded with law enforcement agencies to get to the bottom of the matter and throw the culprits in jail for life because such heartless people are not needed in the society.
The deceasedā€™s father, Mahlapahlapane Themane indicated that the incident has deeply impacted their lives. He expressed the hope that the law will take its course. He further said the death of his son benefited many people and should add to the betterment of the community because such occurrences are societal concerns.
ā€œWe came into terms with the fact that we were robbed of our son upon returning from Pietersburg Provincial Hospital on Sunday. Things are getting better each day but we would get more comfort as soon as the culprits are brought to book. Thorisho was the last born and traditionally the last born remains at home to look after the parents, so we were expecting him to take good care of us with the assistance of a wife. We were expecting great things from him,ā€ Themane reiterated.
He cautioned that the motive behind the killing was still unknown to the family and said ā€œWe donā€™t know if it was a robbery or a quarrel about a girlfriend.ā€
He described Thorisho as an incredible musician who has worked with different pastors in various churches.
The memorial service is planned for tommorrow (Friday) evening at a venue yet to be confirmed with the funeral scheduled for Saturday at Silicon Cemetery.
