#WFD – Salmon Alfredo Cups

POLOKWANE – Combine a delicious, creamy pasta alfredo with fresh salmon fillets for an all new dinner experience.

What’s for Dinner suggests serving in individual ramekins and topping with perfectly melted cheese, for a meal your family won’t soon forget.

Ingredients

– 4 x 120g salmon fillets
– 30ml olive oil
– 2 x KNORR Alfredo Pasta and Sauce
– 250ml low fat milk
– 750ml hot water
– small bunch of chives chopped
– 40g grated cheese

Method

– Heat the oil in a medium pan. Season the salmon with salt and fry for 3 minutes on a side over high heat. Remove and allow to cool before lightly flaking with a fork. Set aside until needed.
– In a medium size saucepan, bring water and milk to the boil.
– Add the contents in the packets and stir continuously until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
– Preheat the grill of the oven. Place 4 large ovenproof ramekins (with a capacity of 250ml) on a baking sheet.
– Remove the pasta from the heat and fold the cooked salmon flakes and chopped spring onion through. Ladle into the ramekins, sprinkle the cheese over and place under the grill for 5-7 minutes until golden.
