Hoërskool Noorderland’s cream of the crop rewarded
Hoërskool Noorderland's cream of the crop received recognition for their outstanding academic performances at the school's prize giving on 21 February.
Dux learner for grade 9 was awarded to Bonolo Malota Maleka with an average of 92%. She was the subject prize winner in Afrikaans first additional language 91%, English home language 91%, accounting 99%, natural science 96%, technology 94%, economic and management science 92%.
The Dux learners of every grade received R 150 in cash, floating trophy and book prize.
Dux learner for grade 8 was awarded to Sharp Leruo Hillary with an average of 91%. He was the subject prize winner in Afrikaans first additional language 85%, English home language 90%, accounting 94%, social sciences 95%, mathematics 98%, creative arts 93%, natural science 87%, technology 87%, economic and management science 94%.
Dux learner for grade 11 was awarded to Tshegofatso Kubayi with an average of 90.7%. She was the subject prize winner in English first additional language 94%, accounting 96%, physical science 93%, life science 85%.
Dux learner for grade 10 was awarded to Lehlogonolo Rasehlo with an average of 89.4%. She was the subject prize winner in Sepedi home language 87%, English first additional language 91%, accounting 90%, mathematics 95%,economics 93% and physical science 81%
