Toddlers at Mitchell House’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre, Squirrel’s Nest engaged in competitive activities during the school’s Mini Olympics on Friday.
The activities were for 125 learners in Grades 000 to 0 and were actively supported by parents from the sidelines.
Headmaster Andrew Cook said this was an opportunity to introduce the toddlers to combative activities and also for them to have fun.
He commented that the young participants and their parents were clearly enjoying the fun sack race, egg and spoon race and other fun relay races.
