[WATCH] Valentine’s Black Tie Affair, a celebration of love

The Valentines Day Black Tie Affair event saw several local couples share their love stories as well as what has kept their love burning over the years.

POLOKWANE – [WATCH] Mike and Lungi Moutlana narrated that they first met at the Seshego Choral Society in 1980.

[WATCH] Malesela and Kgadi Maubane, another couple which took the stage told of how they started their relationship over the phone.

Guest speakers for the evening included Dr Rhulani Maringa and Pastor Vusi Mashabane and his wife Molatelo Mashabane.

Pastor Vusi encouraged newly married couples and those about to be wed to treat each other with respect. “There is no recipe for love and a long lasting marriage. love, respect and loyalty serve as basis to a healthy relationship,” Pastor Mashabane concluded.

Sido and Manana, Peculiar Band from Seshego and Mokone were on hand to entertain the couples during the event at Church On The (COTH) Hill Polokwane, on Thursday, 14 February at the Jubilee Cafe.
