Planned water shutdown to affect parts of the city and Seshego

This is to allow the municipality to connect pipes in both areas.

POLOKWANE – Residents and businesses are advised of a planned water supply shutdown to take place on Thursday, 21 February 2019.

Municipal spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the planned activity will affect areas along Devenish Street, between Hans van Rensburg and Landross Mare Streets and the operation will also affect the following Zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 in Seshego.

“This is to allow connection of pipes in both areas. The operation will commence at 18h00 on Thursday until 05h30 on Friday, 22 February,” he said.

The municipality says they will deploy water tankers to affected areas during the shutdown, however, “residents and businesses are urged to prepare themselves and also seek alternative supply where possible.”
