Provincial Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe indicated that drugs estimated at R500 000 were confiscated in the process.
The arrest was made during a intelligence-driven joint operation by members of Tzaneen Cluster Crime Intelligence Unit, Provincial Drug Team and detectives.
In the process of searching the lab the high quantity of dagga and so-called mushrooms which were in the stage of being processed were discovered, according to Ngoepe.
