BREAKING NEWS – Manhunt after six escape from custody

Police are hard on the trail for six awaiting trial prisoners who allegedly escaped from the Letsitele holding cells on Saturday.
According to Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe the six reportedly escaped at around 16:45 while officers provided suspects in the holding cells with food.
They were identified as Adam Baloyi (20) who was arrested for house robbery, Eddie Baloyi (20) who was arrested for armed robbery and attempted murder, Benedict Ledwaba (36) who was arrested for theft and Doctor Kubayi (31), Lordwick Mhlongo and Frank Nyambi (31) who were arrested for business burglary.
The circumstances around the incident are still being investigated.
Anyone with information that can lead to the re-arrest of the escapees can contact investigating officer Cecil Machimane on 082 451 7181 or report to the nearest Police station.
