#WFD – Garlic, biltong and blue cheese bread

POLOKWANE – Looking for a lovely bread to accompany your meal tonight? Why not try this lovely garlic, biltong and blue cheese bread.

What’s for Dinner gives a handy tip by suggesting that you use store bought bread dough to save some time.

Ingredients

– 500g brown bread dough
– olive oil
– 120g biltong, sliced
– 70g blue cheese, crumbled
– 1 x KNORR Creamy Garlic Sauce

Method

– Preheat oven to 220C
– Roll out the brown bread dough on a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin until large and rectangular in shape
– Spray a baking tray with non-stick baking spray and line with the rolled out bread dough
– Drizzle generously with olive oil then top with blue cheese and biltong
– Prepare the sachet of KNORR Creamy Garlic Sauce as per on-pack instructions – pour over the top of the dough and spread out over the surface using a knife to evenly distribute
– Season with freshly cracked black pepper then bake in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and the dough is crispy around the edges
– Remove from the oven and slice into squares and serve
