POLOKWANE – Out of the blue, after a very hot morning, the heavens opened up again and, as expected parts of the city were flooded.
With the storm came strong winds and reports have been coming in about trees which have fallen over in and around the Flora Park area.
The storm has once again caused flooding in the parking lot at Savannah Mall. This is the third time the mall has been affected this month.

Marki Franken, marketing manager at Savannah Mall, confirms that there is no flooding in the mall. ” We have new precautionary measures in place to prevent the mall from floods. We have started construction at entrance four (Dischem’s side) to prevent flooding.”
