POLOKWANE – The MEC for Health in Limpopo, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, has conveyed her condolences to the family of Kenny Lesiba Moshiga, who was killed in an accident on Friday, 25 January.

“Kenny Moshiga was a pharmacist who served the Limpopo department of health in different facilities, before joining the Medicine Control Council (MCC) currently known as the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). He had been operating as an inspector within the National department of Health,” Ramathuba said.
Moshiga, his wife, Molebogeng Moshigo and their two children were killed in a head-on collision on Friday, 25 January on the N1 near Kranskop when an Iveco truck collided head on with Moshiga’s vehicle.

Ramathuba visited the family of the deceased on Sunday, 27 Janaury, to offer condolences on behalf of the department of health. She added by saying that Moshiga’s death is not only a loss for the family, but the entire nation as he was a well experienced pharmacist operating in a highly skilled unit.
“Losing four members of the family is a serious tragedy and as government we will work with relevant departments and entities to support the family during this difficult period,” she concluded.
