According to King Benefit Foundation founder, Moses King Benefit Mabitsela, the King Benefit Foundation is aimed at helping learners get creative so that they are better prepared to rewrite their exam. “Face-to-face classes are taught by grade experience tutors. We are still accepting learners from Gr 1 to Gr 12 as well as helping school dropouts to obtain their matric certificates.

“Even though Gr 12 learners are our main target, we help any learner who is struggling with an education,” said Mabitsela.

The foundation aims to share the knowledge with learners. “It has been one of the great privileges of my life to assist young people to realise their full potential through education. Many learners feel matric is it, and there is nothing after matric. It’s important to let learners and their parents know there is light at the end of the matric tunnel.”

He told BONUS that sometimes, exams are not a cause for celebration and many teens can feel alone and isolated when reports are issued.

Learners who require assistance can register with the King Benefit Foundation at Mimosa Building, first floor or they can contact Mabitsela at 071 304 7108.

Stipends are available to all students. Registration costs R300 and monthly fees are R100.
