Imasa Limpopo branch elects office bearers for 2019

The Limpopo branch of the Institute of Municipal Administration for Southern Africa (Imasa) elected its office bearers during a meeting in the city last Friday.
Reply Mkhwanazi, Danky Leshaba, Beauty Maake and Barry Viljoen were re-elected as chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary and treasurer respectively. Mampuru Thobejane and Tsietsi Manyama were elected as additional member and student representative, respectively.
National president of Imasa, Winnie Baloyi who is also a member of the branch, presented certificates to officials who attended a workshop on Discipline in Municipalities that was hosted by the branch last year.
Baloyi reported back on Imasa’s annual general meeting that took place in the Western Cape recently and congratulated Imasa Limpopo for winning the coveted award of Imasa Branch of the Year for 2018. She thanked members for the work done to promote the goals and ideals of Imasa.
