Police need the help of the public to locate murder suspect Dorobo Rodney Tshivula (31) Maelula village, Dzanani area who is apparently on the run from the law.
According to Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe the suspect is accused of having killed his partner in May 2017.
It is reported that Suzan Mabala’s decomposed body was found among vegetation on 13 May 2017 after her family had reported her missing on 19 April 2017. Police investigations later led to Tshivula’s arrest.
Ngoepe further indicated that Tshivula was granted bail by the Dzanani Magistrate’s Court and the case referred to the Thohoyandou High Court. Tshivula was warned to appear in court on 17 September 2018. He apparently never pitched and Police have since then not been able to locate him.
A reward of R100 000 for information that might lead to his arrest and subsequent conviction is on offer.
