Memorial service for murdered Transport Deputy Director to be held in Polokwane

The partially burned body of Marks Rambau, who was attached to the Limpopo Department of Transport in Polokwane, was allegedly dumped next to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by two unknown suspects on Tuesday night, 15 January.

POLOKWANE – The ANC Limpopo say the death of Marks Rambau was untimely.

Rambau’s partially burned body was allegedly dumped next to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by two unknown suspects on Tuesday night, 15 January.

He was the Deputy Director for the Department of Transport as well as a facilitator of the ANC ‘s sub committee on Training in Limpopo.

Memorial Services, organised jointly by the ANC and the Limpopo Department of Transport, for Rambau will be held at the following venues:

POLOKWANE:
Date: 24 January 2019
Venue: Jack Botes Hall
Time: 12:00

VUWANI:
Date: 25 January 2019
Venue: Vuwani Community Hall (Vhembe Region)
Time: 14:00

Rambau’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, 26 January at the Vuwani Community Hall from 06:00am.

Provincial Secretary for the ANC, Soviet Lekganyane, has called upon all citizens to join the services to “offer Marks Rambau a send off befitting his stature of a gallant fighter who remained true to the revolutionary ethos of our movement to the very end.”
