LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Health Department have dispatched a team comprising of environmental health practitioners and public health specialists to the Bosele School for the Blind.
This, after 23 cases of food poisoning were reported at the school.

Spokesperson for the department, Neil Shikwambana said 23 learners were taken to the Klipspruit Clinic earlier today and were later transferred to the Groblersdal and Matlala Hospitals.
“19 learners were treated for diarrhoea, while four were treated for vomiting,” he confirmed.

Shikwambana concluded by saying that the officials dispatched by the department will work with school authorities to try and avoid such cases in future.
