Athletes interested in participating in the Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) 4-in-1 Marathon can now register to secure a place following the official launch of the challenge at Legacy Polokwane BMW Dealership yesterday (Wednesday).
The marathon which is expected to attract over 3 000 international and national athletes carries cash prizes totalling R150 000.
When launching the marathon, CDM Executive Mayor John Mpe said they were looking forward to yet another successful edition and urged athletes and the public to register. He further indicated that CDM 4-1 Marathon was a qualifier for both Two Oceans and Comrades Marathon.
Entries are now open and participants can register online by visiting www.bouttime.co.za. Those who are unable to register online can visit CDM’s offices at 41 Biccard Street on weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00, Polokwane Athletic Club at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 15 February from 17:00 until 19:00 or register on the day of the race at Polokwane Rugby Fields from 04:30 until 05:45.
