Police launch search operation for woman last seen attending ZCC church service in Moria

According to her landlord in Moria, Tshiamelo Khanyenda reported, over the phone, that she was in Mankweng but failed to disclose her exact location.

POLOKWANE – Police in Mankweng, outside Polokwane, have launched a search operation after the mysterious disappearance of Tshiamelo Khanyenda (43), originally from the Republic of Botswana.

Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says Khanyenda was last seen at the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) in Moria on new year’s day, 1 January,  after attending the church service and has since disappeared.

“According to her landlord in Moria, Khanyenda reported, over the phone, that she was in Mankweng but failed to disclose her exact location. The matter was reported to the police and a search operation ensued,” he said.

Her clothing worn at the time of her disappearance is unknown.

“Anyone with information that can assist in reuniting Tshiamelo with her family should contact Warrant Officer Maribe Mamabolo on 0729943160 or 0152862000; the crime stop number 0860010111; crime line sms number 32211 or should contact the nearest police station,” Ngoepe concluded.
