Patients at Jane Furse Hospital relocated following flooding due to storm

According to the Department of Health, the storm caused serious flooding.

POLOKWANE – The MEC for Health in Limpopo, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, will visit the Jane Furse Hospital  after patients has to be relocated to other facilities following a huge storm last night, 20 December.

According to the spokesperson for the department, Neil Shikwambana, the storm caused serious flooding and damage to parts of the hospital.

“This meant patients had to be evacuated to nearby facilities such as St Ritas,” he said.
