POLOKWANE – They know that SK Tyre Repairs Mobile Unit will fix their tyres wherever they are.
In 2009, Silence Khosa started his tyre repairs business, SK Mobile Tyre in Seshego zone 1 and since then, every day has been a busy bbut enjoyable day.
Khosa has been a shining example of what self-empowerment is all about.
Like many South Africans, he was faced with several challenges, including poverty.
Khosa holds a certificate in mechanical engineering from Seshego FET College.
He explains how his business came about:
“I realised that many motorists get stuck in the road because of tyre problems and some travel without a jack. I am happy about the support I receive from the people from Seshego.
This job is about more than just fixing punctures. I know all my customers will be waiting for me at my business. I also do house call. I also have my regular customers,” he said.
He told Bonus that he is proud of himself for having created five permanent jobs through his business.
“This is what I would like to do this for the rest of my life. I would like to see my business grow and I want to own a big tyre’s franchise one day,” he said.
