According to Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe the duo were allegedly involved in the murder of Johan Kruger (57). Kruger was shot and killed in front of his wife in their home outside Alldays during a farm attack incident this morning (Friday, 14 December).

Three suspects were intercepted by the members of the Alldays Farm Watch Patrol. During the incident the suspects shot at the members who then retaliated, injuring one of the suspects. The other two left the getaway vehicle and fled on foot into the nearby farms.

“The Police were summoned and a joint search operation ensued until the second suspect (21) was apprehended. The injured suspect is currently under police guard at a local hospital. The remaining suspect is still being sought.”

After the arrest the suspect’s vehicle was then searched and several firearms, hunting rifles, ammunitions, money, elephant tusks and other household items were recovered.
