More traffic delineators to be errected along N1 – SANRAL

LIMPOPO – The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) says it will erect more barricades in a form of traffic delineators on the N1 north highway until Polokwane, to deter drivers from overtaking over barriers lines.

SANRAL regional, operation and maintenance manager Madoda Mthembu says the effort is a temporary measure to reduce road fatalities in road crashes hotspots.

This comes after Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Makoma Makhurupetje, together with various law enforcement agencies, conducted the festive season road safety campaign activation at Kranskop this afternoon.
