Limpopo Police launch search operations for two missing teens

The Lebowakgomo Police have launched search operations for two young girls who went missing during separate incidents over a week ago.

LIMPOPO- Police spokesperson Const Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa reported: “14-year-old Mathapelo Mabitsela from Lenting village was reported missing on 25 November after she did not arrive at her destination. “It is alleged she left home to visit her mother at Mosetamong village in Ga-Mphahlele but did not arrive at the destination and has not returned home until today.”

A joint operation conducted by the police together with members of the victim’s family have searched for her at relatives and friends but all in vain.

Meanwhile the police are also looking for Annah MathapeloLetsoalo (16)Ā  from Ga-Maja Matobole who allegedly went missing on 27 November. The police were informed and efforts to locate her at relatives and friends were in vain. “The family did not notice the clothes she was wearing by the time she disappeared.”
