The Management of Grace and Hope Special School for intellectually Impaired Students presented certificates to students in Sewing, Woodwork, Creative Arts, Horticulture and Hospitality during their annual Graduation Ceremony held at Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex on Friday.
George Mashapu, head of Horticulture, congratulated the learners for proving their mettle during their academic programme.
Mashapu praised the learners for their hard work and commitment during their academic programme throughout the years.
“Remember we are dealing with children with different impairments. Some adapt easily and others take time to grasp things, but we have patience with them. We are glad that their hard work finally paid off and that they are graduating,” Mashapa said.
For Rosina Makoela the certificate in Horticulture she received holds the prospect of advancing in life.
“It has been a good fours years for me at the school. I enjoyed my stay, learnt a lot and look forward to gaining employment at any corporate of government institution,” she said.
