Residents of Seshego Zones 4 and 8 may face water shortages tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday due to planned work on a main pipeline. Sections of Nelson Mandela Drive along the two zones will also be closed temporarily.
Media and Stakeholder Relations Officer of Polokwane Municipality, Disree Manyane informed that a contractor will connect a new pipeline to the reticulation system and that the work will take approximately 48 hours to complete.
“We urge all affected stakeholders to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the process to avoid shortages. Water tankers will be deployed in the area.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused by this unplanned incident. Water related issues can be reported on 015 290 2376, 015 290 2473 or 015 290 2629,” Manyane said.
