POLOKWANE – The N1 between Kranskop and Mookgophong has been temporarily closed following an accident between a truck and a taxi.

Details are still sketchy as to what caused the accident, however, spokesperson for the department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala has advised motorists to use the R101 for the next four hours to avoid delays and traffic congestion.
“We cannot confirm whether there have been any fatalities or not but the N1 between Kranskop and Mookgophong will be temporarily closed.” he said.
