BREAKING NEWS UPDATE – Manhunt for four suspects after Cycad Shopping Centre fatal shooting

Following a fatal shooting that claimed the life of one alleged robber at Cycad Shopping Centre this morning (Monday), the Police have launched a massive manhunt for the remaining four suspects who reportedly fled the scene in a Silver Toyota Corolla with unknown registration plates.
Information from the Police alleged that an unknown man believed to be one of the suspects involved in this incident was fatally wounded following an attempted robbery. Provincial Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe stated that a 58-year-old man alighted from his motor vehicle to go and deposit money at one of the local ATMs. While walking towards the ATM, the man saw the suspect running away from the vehicle with his bag towards the getaway vehicle with four occupants inside and he gave chase on foot, Ngoepe explained. He added that in the process, he ordered the suspect to stop but he continued running until he fired some shots towards the alleged suspect who died instantly.
He emphasised that cases of theft out of motor vehicle and inquest were opened for further Police investigations.
