MOKOPANE – Residents in Mokopane will be without water this weekend due to maintenance.
This water supply interruption will affect residents in the Mokopane CBD, Central Mokopane, Ext 3,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,16 and 18 (including all the low cost housing extensions namely Ext 14, 17, 19 and 20, Mahwelereng zone A, B and C ).
The interruptions will take place from 06:00 this morning, 17 November to 04:00 on Monday, 19 November as well as from 06:00 on Saturday, 24 November to 04:00, Monday, 26 November.
The water supply interruption is necessary to enable the municipality to install level indicators and clean the Mokopane and Piet-se-Kop (Mahwelereng) Reservoirs.
Residents should note that no guarantee can be given that the water will remain disconnected for the whole period and residents are informed to consider all connections as water active. Keep all water taps closed to avoid unnecessary disputes on bills.
