Guards injured in 4-vehicle pile-up outside Elim
A case of reckless and negligent driving is being investigated
LIMPOPO – According to the spokesperson for the Department of Transport, the accident occurred near Mbhokota Village outside Elim on the R578 at around 10:00 this morning (Tuesday).
“It is alleged the driver of the armoured vehicle lost control of the vehicle and they collided with a Toyota Quantum and overturned along the road. The police however reacted swiftly to the scene and nothing was stolen from the vehicle, he said.
Two other vehicles were also involved in the collision but only the driver of the armoured vehicle and occupants from the quantum sustained injuries. The injured were transported to the nearest hospital fr treatment, he concluded.
