R20 000 reward for information on stolen trailer and tractors believed to be near Polokwane

A white double axle Mack horse and trailer with three blue Landini GMZX tractors on the back went missing on Friday, 26 October.

POLOKWANE – A missing truck has been in the spotlight for almost a week now and the last Tracker signal showed the truck on the Tzaneen Bypass heading towards Tzaneen to make a delivery. The driver of the truck had not yet been in contact with the owners and they have also not been able to contact him.

During the search for the missing vehicles, the horse was found in the Waterpoort area where it was completely destroyed in a fire. There was no sign, however of the tractors, the trailer or the driver.

Two of the tractors were meant to be delivered to ZZ2 farmers near the city. The company who has been dealing in the delivery of the tractors are situated in Welkom, but it is believed that the tractors are still in the Polokwane area as searches to areas around the city were unsuccessful.

A reward for R 20 000 is being offered for information which could lead to the recovery of the stolen trailer and tractors.

A source close to the company told Review that the company would be in a lot of trouble if the tractors are not found and recovered. The value is estimated to be at around R2 million.

CCTV footage shows what the truck and tractors look like.

The registration number of the trailer is FZX 934 MP and it is red in colour. Communities in and around Polokwane are urged to help in finding the driver and the tractors and anyone with information is urged to contact one of the following numbers:
Lt. Col. Motloa of the VCIS on 082 451 7184.
Letie on 083 6540057.
