The Provincial Government has given a senior spokesperson an opportunity to make representations as to why he should not be suspended pending investigations into serious allegations recently made against him.
In a statement issued this afternoon (Thursday), Premier’s Spokesperson, Kenny Mathivha said the Provincial Government has been made aware of serious allegations against the spokesperson during the past few days and in view of the seriousness of these allegations, he has been given a chance to respond to the allegations by Monday.
Mathivha could not say what the allegations related to as he indicated that the spokesperson hasn’t been charged yet and reiterated that all would be revealed on Monday, if he decides to make representations.
