Earlier today (Friday) the Democratic Alliance (DA) used the platform of a city sidewalk to direct attention to the Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone (SEZ), R145 billion in Chinese investment and the 51% stake reportedly owned by Limpopo Economic Development Agency (Leda) in the project.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane was joined by DA Limpopo leader Jacques Smalle in handing over a memorandum to a representative of Leda in Schoeman Street, where a group of DA supporters gathered to support the move.
In the memorandum calling for transparency in the Musina-Makhado SEZ project, the DA in Limpopo raised seven questions and gave Leda a fortnight to respond.
