There is still limited space available to attend Capricorn Quilting’s popular Bushveld Sew Away, which started today (Thursday) and will entail three days of relaxing yet inspirational sewing with friends who love sewing at Centenary House’s hall until Saturday.
Ann Nel, owner of Capricorn Quilting at Platinum Park, said the project will involve making a patchwork handbag with cork, which will be presented by Nicky Selby from Husqwarna Viking South Africa.
“The workshop will take place from 08:00 to 18:00 and there will be various packages available. Meals and accomodation will also be available,” she explained.
While Capricorn Quilting is a quilter’s haven, they also cater for knitting, crocheting, embroidery and sewing, and also offer various classes.
Nico Nel, manager of Capricorn Quilting invited people to drop in at their store for a browse.
“We are so much more than just a quilting store and would love to share our knowledge,” he concluded. To join in straight away contact the office on 015 297 2146.
