LIMPOPO – A woman in her 20’s has been killed in head-on collision along the R521 today (Wednesday) about 20 kilometers from Polokwane, confirmed the Department of Transport.
Department spokesperson, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, says the collision happened at around 15:00 near Makgodu village.
“Two vehicles, a BMW sedan and a Mazda sedan collided head-on when the one vehicle overtook another vehicle.”

The woman who was a passenger in the BMW was killed. The drivers from both vehicles and a passenger sustained serious injuries and a fourth passenger sustained minor injuries.
The exact cause of the collision will form part of a police investigation, but reckless driving has not been ruled out, he concluded.
