[WATCH] Polokwane mayor speaks out about streetlight vandalism in Westenburg

During her visit to Westenburg for the house handover to the Adams family that took place on 5 October, the Executive mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng took the time to address the street light problem that Westenburg has been experiencing.

POLOKWANE – The residents of Westenburg have been experiencing a problem with the lack of visibility in the area due to the lack of street lights. She starts by speaking about the work that the municipality has put into repairing the lights, mentioning the area that was specifically targeted.

She also takes the opportunity to address the matter that vandalism of municipal property occurs within the community, the same people who complain about the street lights not working. She then gives a clear solution for the problem that everybody can put to practice.
