POLOKWANE – The event, The Polokwane Fair, is to be hosted in partnership with (SAMYF) South African Modeling Youth Forum, a non profit organisation which strives to give a network for growth and improvement for local creatives in the art, fashion and entertainment industry, at Park Inn by Radison Hotel on 12 and 13 October.
According to the founder and director of the organisation, Percy Mohale “The Polokwane Fair will be hosted for the first under Bahale Media in a quest to allow local creatives, being artists, models and entrepreneurs, a chance to network as well as showcase their skills and talents. The platform will afford these creatives an opportunity to learn from each other and to expand their horizons,” he explained.
“Earlier this year local upcoming designers, artists and models were allowed to submit their portfolio and 24 of these were chosen to showcase their work during the fair. 12 fashion designers were selected to showcase their product on the Ramp on 13 October and 12 fashion designers on 12 October during the live mannequin exhibition. We are glad to announce this special program that will foresee growing the fashion and trade industry of the Limpopo province,” he added.
