[TRAFFIC ALERT] One lane blocked in Potgieter Avenue due to broken down truck

POLOKWANE – Motorists are warned of a stationery truck in Potgieter Avenue just outside Tom Naudé.

A truck, with a full load has broken down right in the middle of the street blocking one lane, the turning lane going out of Potgieter Avenue and the second in-going lane into Potgieter.

The truck has been there for over an hour and it is reported that the truck will still be stationary for several hours as it is waiting for repairs.

Where possible, motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Biccard and Dorp Streets as well as Landdros Mare to get into and out of town to avoid delays.
