Festival to inspire and equip all aspiring writers
Are you a script writer? Or Do you need skills and knowledge to craft your script?
POLOKWANE – Then do not miss the Arts Media Alive Young Script Writers Festival which is set to take place on the 5-6 October in Mankweng at the University of Limpopo and the other on the 9-10 October will be held in Lebowakgomo and the last one in Bochum on 12-13 October.
“With this event we are trying to equip aspiring writers with skills and knowledge on being good writers so that they can flourish in their aspirations and dreams to be good writers. Attendees will at the festival be afforded an opportunity for one-to-one appointments with experts from within the industry. All aspiring writers are advised and requested to bring along a short portfolio of their writing,” said Freddy Molope, one of the organisers of the festival.
Agents, publishers, authors are invited to come and give positive critics and advise to attendees on how to improve on their work. This event is open for all writers who are looking to expose their creativity with industry experts plus improving their skills to grow the script writing industry.
