POLOKWANE -On Thursday, 20 September, learners and teachers dressed according to their different traditions and shared with one another knowledge and facts about what makes their traditions unique.
“We are trying to encourage the entire school and hopefully the entire community to make an effort to learn about one another’s cultures and traditions.
The different traditions and cultures make us unique, and that is why it is important for us to respect each other’s cultures and traditions, this will enable us to live in peace,” explained Lerato Mapiti, Chairperson of the Cultural Transformation Committee.
The day was filled with cultural activities and the best dressed learners were awarded with prizes.
